Sherwood Egbert

Sherwood Egbert is a Projects Manager at Shapco, Inc., a third-generation family-owned business. Currently, Sherwood oversees manufacturing operations and strategic direction for Shapco’s two operating companies: Imperial Pipe Services and Custom Pipe and Fabrication. Previously, Sherwood was the President and CEO of a former Shapco company, Lavi Systems, Inc., an aerospace and defense manufacturer of electro-mechanical fuel components and avionics. Sherwood graduated from the University of Southern California in 2013 with a B.S. in Earth Sciences and a minor in Geology. While at USC, he divided his time between Greek life, philanthropy, the USC Men’s Ice Hockey Team, and environmental research.

 

Outside of the office, Sherwood is a managing partner in several multi-family real estate investment entities and continues to grow his portfolio. Sherwood is also actively involved in the Los Angeles Jewish community. He is a member of the Real Estate Cabinet (REC) through the Jewish Federation of Los Angeles, a big brother at the Jewish Big Brother Big Sisters of Los Angeles (JBBBSLA), and supporter of the Teen Initiative with the Jewish Federation of LA.

 

Sherwood enjoys playing golf, attending USC athletic events, spending time with his dog and wife in the mountains, and cheering on the Los Angeles Kings. Sherwood and his wife Ashton—an interior designer—live in Santa Monica and have been married for two years with two fur-babies: Reagan and Harlow.
